Bleg: Supporting Village Libraries in Africa

Those who know me know what a cynic I can be about charity/aid to Africa. But there are a handful of groups doing work that I think is appropriate, desired by the local community, and actually has a meaningful impact. The folks at Friends of African Village Libraries (FAVL) are just that kind of group. They are participating in a fundraising challenge and I encourage you to learn more about them and make a donation. By making a contribution to them now, you can help FAVL earn a permanent spot on GlobalGiving.
