Undergraduate Research Contest for Budding Political Scientists ($500 Cash Prize)

22 October 2011

The Project for Equity, Representation, and Governance (PERG) at Texas A&M University has made a call for undergraduate students to submit research essays for a writing competition. Any undergraduate student is eligible (including those at other universities). $500 cash awards will be made in each of the following fields:

  • Latino Politics
  • African American Politics
  • Public Administration/Public Policy
  • Comparative Politics
  • Gender Politics
So, if you have a paper you’ve written for a junior thesis or an independent study, why not throw your hat in the ring? The deadline isn’t until February 2012, so even if you don’t have something already done, it might be worth your time to prepare a paper.
More details here. Please share widely.
