favorite new blogs of 2011
28 December 2011
There are a few blogs that were new (at least to me) this year that are now staples in my RSS feed:
- Evan Lieberman: a political scientist at Princeton University blogging on African politics and development (see previous endorsement)
- Indexed: Sometimes it’s Venn diagrams, other times it’s graphs — they’re all penciled onto an index card and most are hilarious/true. From Indexed: This site is a little project that lets me make fun of some things and sense of others. I use it to think a little more relationally without resorting to doing actual math.
- Shit My Students Write: “Evidence of the true cost of educational funding cuts.”
- Last but not least, my new favorite person in 2011 that I met via the blogosphere/Twitter: Marc F. Bellemare, an economist at the Sanford School of Public Policy at Duke University, blogging on development and this year writing a lot on food prices and riots.
Are there others out there that were new (at least to you) that you recommend to haba na haba readers?
